Lex Alamannorum (type B); bottom edge corner missing on foll. 98r-99v; fol. 115v library stamp
The first scribe handled the whole first part (Lex Salica: foll. 1-63r) and in the second part the portions of the Lex Alamannorum type B (foll. 74, 82-89 and 94-115). The second hand wrote the sections of Lex Alamannorum in type A (foll. 65-73, 75-81, 90r-91r); excluding the leaves 91v-93v which were written by a third scribe. The magical-medical text about the damned day (dies egiptiaci) is a somewhat later supplement by another hand. According to Bischoff similarities to Bern, Burger Library, Ms. 171 and London, British Library, Cotton Vespasian D. XIV, foll. 170-224 are detectable. [Karl Ubl]
