Provenance:
Written in Monasterio de Albelda the manuscript got into the possession of Count Buendia, who presented the codex to Philip II. Since 1576 in El Escorial. (Gontrum 1993) According to Wendy Davies the codex was written in Oviedo. (Davies 2016)
