Script: „mehrere grobe oder formlose“ hands (Bischoff) with only few ligatures (ct, st, re, et) and barely any variant forms (bei a, n, r). Red headings in uncial (illegible), 2-line high unadorned initials in Capitalis.

The first part of the codex dates from the 13th century and might have been bound together with the second part only because of its small format. This is by far the smallest of Salic law manuscripts. At the beginning 4 quires or 32 leaves have been lost, as is evident from the quire numeration. Not much more than the beginning of the lex as well as the list of titles could have been written on the missing leaves. Consequently, this is one of the few Lex Salica manuscripts without any accompanying texts. [Karl Ubl]
