Origin:
10th century, in parts Benevento or Salerno (Bluhme); early 11th century, presumably Apulian (Mordek); short before 1050, Bari (Bracciotti)

Provenance:
The first owner of the manuscript which is known was the jurist Marino Freccia. After him Diego Colmenares bought it in 1543. Since the 19th century the codex is preserved in the national library of Madrid. (Gontrum 1993)
